Bedivere Insurance Company

On March 11, 2021, Bedivere Insurance Company, previously known as OneBeacon Insurance Company, was ordered into liquidation by the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. The Order granted a petition for liquidation filed by the Pennsylvania Insurance Department with the consent of the then Board of Directors for Bedivere Insurance Company. 

Pursuant to Article V of the Insurance Department Act of 1921, the Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner was appointed as Liquidator of Bedivere Insurance Company (in Liquidation). Under the Court’s oversight, the Liquidator is charged, in part, with marshalling the assets, evaluating liabilities, and distributing remaining assets to the estate’s creditors. The Department’s Office of Liquidations, Rehabilitation and Special Funds is delegated these duties. In addition, the Bedivere estate has engaged the services of A.G. Risk Management, Inc. to assist in the administration of the receivership. 

This website is intended to provide the estate’s creditors with a convenient repository of all relevant Court filings and other documents and references relating to the administration of the estate. 

 A creditor asserting a monetary claim against the Bedivere estate shall file a proof of claim with the liquidator in accordance with Article V.
